We have synthesized coreshell multiferroic nanocomposites by functionalizing 10–100 nm barium titanate and nickel ferrite nanoparticles with complementary coupling groups and allowing them to selfassemble in the presence of a catalyst. The coreshell structure was confirmed by electron microscopy and magnetic force microscopy.
